Finance: new certificates available in September 2019

Want to add a new competency to your financial skillset? Premier academic centre for industry-relevant financial research, EDHEC-Risk Institute unites with Coursera, a platform created by two Stanford Computer Science professors.

Together, they will offer to master students with a background in finance, computer science or data science a 100% online training in Data Science and Machine Learning for Asset Management Specialisation, including four Moocs: Introduction to Portfolio Construction and Analysis with Python, Advanced Portfolio Optimisation and Analysis with Python, Python Machine Learning for Investment Management and Python Machine Learning for Investment Management with Alternative Datasets.

Upon completion of the Mooc, you will get a Specialisation Certificate to share with your professional network and potential employers.

This specialisation programme offered on Coursera platform is intended to be a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of data science in asset management. Theory will be covered in lecture videos and concepts will be implemented in Python using dedicated lab sessions and accompanying Jupyter notebooks ensuring that learners will be able to code and have a deep and practical understanding of how those methods actually work,” explains Lionel Martellini, Director, EDHEC-Risk Institute, Professor of Finance.
