Timing:           Successful candidate to start September 2006

 

Background:   The opportunity is to join a top FTSE 100 company and one of the world's largest distributors and suppliers of building materials.

 

The Roles:     Two years, two countries, one programme

The EGP is a two-year European programme, and your time will be divided between the UK and either Austria/France/Spain/Italy/ the Czech Republic/Poland or Hungary. As this international organisation continues to move into new territories, the opportunities for flexible, talented and multilingual managers will grow.

You will be studying alongside like-minded graduates who will share many of your personal qualities as well as your language skills. The programme is structured to build your personal and management skills within an international context.  You will gain an understanding of the whole business.  All assignments incorporate an underlying element of personal development.

This EGP will open the door to tremendous opportunities in a range of different areas including Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Supply Chain & Logistics, Purchasing & Sourcing and Information Systems.

Qualities:        FLUENT in both English and either

French/Czech/Polish/Hungarian/German/Italian/Scandinavian languages/Spanish.

Demonstrate a desire to perform well in the commercial world

Have good university involvement

Show evidence of leadership and participating in teams

A desire to work in a hands on environment

 

Degree Title:  No specific degree required

 

Location:        UK and either France/Austria/Spain/Italy/Czech Republic/Poland/Hungary
