2020, team up for excellence

On the 4th January, the beginning of 2020, EDHEC Business School Chinese Alumni Association organized an interactive tour at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in collaboration with La Maison Rémy Martin. More than 20 alumni attended the event.

Looking back at 2019, EDHEC has too many good news to share with you: the school has successively passed accreditation of AMBA and AACSB and ranked among the top 15 business school in European by Financial Times. The Executive MAB program also ranked among top 10 by Financial Times. Besides, MBA program ranked No. 7 worldwide and the BBA program ranked No.1 in France by The Economist. Students from the newly launched joint school program – GETT, Master of Management in Global Economic Transformation and Technology, successfully started their studies at partner school, University of Berkeley…

In China, the school and alumni groups also spent a rich and fantastic year in 2019. We had a lot of good news: Ms. Pan Sisi served as the new Country Manage. Annual alumni activities “EDHEC Rendez-Vous” held successfully. We cooperated with the CentraleSupélec to organized a career fair in Shanghai. The MBA program director Ms. Sandra Richez and the school’s global alumni relationship director Mr. Martin Barbier visited this fair. In addition, we established partnership with Tsinghua University and other well-known universities and there will be more academic exchange with them in the future. The BBA program is open to Chinese students and they can participate the No.1 undergraduate program in France. The successful inclusion in the list of overseas universities in Shanghai has addressed the long-term concerns of Chinese alumni.

In the new year, we have enough reasons and confidence to look forward to the future of EDHEC. The school has now developed the EDHEC 2025 strategy, which aims to help future students better prepare themselves for the trend of digitalization and globalization, cultivate their entrepreneurship and innovative spirit, and thus contribute to their success. With the introduction and implementation of specific action plans in the future, it is believed that EDHEC will go steadily and far and educate more outstanding leaders in the new business era.
