Our Career advisor Silvia Marichalar was travelling to Madrid.

All EDHEC Alumni members have the possibility, once a year, to benefit from a free individual career coaching interview with our career consultants. These interviews are organized by distance (telephone or Skype) or face to face on our different campuses (Paris, Lille, Nice and London). Our consultants also travel abroad to meet our international alumni.

During an hour long session with you, our career consultants analyze and respond to the alumni individual career needs and help you plan for the future steps (professional project definition, application tools, interview simulations, salary negotiation and international mobility).

Last 31st of January and 1st of February 2019, our International Career Manager, Silvia Marichalar, went to Madrid to organize career coaching interviews with alumni based there. She received very interesting feedbacks from them.

If you are an alumni based internationally, please do contact Silvia Marichalar so that she can organize a Skype session with you!

Testimonies from this career coaching session in Madrid:

R.C , EDHEC 1994: I had the chance to meet Silvia in Madrid last week. I am 50 years old and I wanted some feedback/tips about what could be next steps when I will leave sooner or later a big Multinational company. On top of specific advices, I was astonished to discover that EDHEC had such a department of International Career Services with so much tools available. I believe it is very useful! Great Job Silvia!

V.D, EDHEC 2018: I had the chance to meet Silvia for a Career coaching session during her visit to Madrid. As I just graduated from Edhec, this coaching session arrived right at the time where I was a bit lost in my job search. She shared with me great advices that help me in my current job research. I was quite impressed by all the support the Career Centre and EDHEC Alumni provide to Alumni all over the world and I recommend any Alumni to take advantage of this opportunity!

M.B, EDHEC 2008: I met Silvia while she visited us in Madrid. The career coaching session with her was very constructive and useful. Her point of view is completely objective and neutral. Key questions are raised to make you think about how to improve your professional career, get to know yourself better and grow not only as a professional but as a person first. Absolutely recommended!

R.A, EDHEC 2018: I had the opportunity to meet Silvia during her trip to Madrid this February. She kindly offered me a career management session. Patiently, she helped me to stop and think for a moment what I really wanted to do.  As I am interested in both international organizations and business, my current experiences are varied but, sometimes, confusing and contradictory. Thanks to her advice I could create a more coherent speech about me and my expectations, a more efficient CV, and, most important, a better image for companies. We worked together on my competencies, my skills, my strengths (and also on my weaknesses), giving me a global view of what I can do and how to get there. So no matter your work specialization, neither your age nor your inner aspirations: Silvia will help you get where you really want.

C.F, EDHEC 2012: After 7 years of professional experience abroad, it has been a great opportunity to meet Silvia again and discuss about my career evolution. I was actually looking for some advices regarding my next professional project and also on "how to connect with my network and she gave me very useful material to work on. We also planned to do a job simulation interview which is another great opportunity to improve myself. I would be very happy to meet her again in the years to come and I highly recommend this career meeting to all EDHEC alumni.

Where next ?

After visiting Madrid, Silvia will organize meetings with alumni in Amsterdam in late April.
