• Book and perform validation of cash collateral against exposure trades. Monitoring the MTM (Market to market) on trades and re-marking of trades resulting from margin calls initiated by the client or the counterparty.
• Portfolio reconciliation in case of disagreement: investigation on trade population and price issues
• Reconciliation of cash pools with counterparties, ensuring the end-of-day escalation/alert reports are duly commented (uncovered exposures, payment fails, breaks)
• Manage exposure created by new trades and MTM on existing trades and identify securities available in the inventory to collateralize exposure trades.
• Manage actual exposure by monitoring settlement statuses and liaising with the Securities Back Office and Front Office to ensure timely settlement. Raise/escalate settlement fails that are due to clients (unresponsiveness, incorrect instructions)
• Determine the triparty RQV (Required Value) by entity and collateral profile and match the RQV against the counterparty’s RQV.
