5 month internship with the Group Controlling and Group Corporate Finance teams at TUI Group Finance.
Controlling:
1. Responsible for a trading report showing sold passengers from all markets providing a group wide view of sales and cancellations. C-suite stakeholders (e.g CEO)
2. Producing a weekly trading report displaying the trading of hotel related products and particularly trading into group owned/leased/managed hotels. C-suite stakeholders (e.g CFO)
3. Support with internal analyses concerning financial and managerial accounting topics such as budgeting
4. Support in the gathering of trading data for it’s use in meetings with tourism ministers or similarly, negotiations with airports. Had to collaborate and forward efforts of diverse colleagues while ensuring tight deadlines are met
Corporate Finance:
1. Driving a project improving cash reporting - understanding of a complex topic with relevant financial analysis, project management and problem solving in an established governance environment
2. €1.1 bn rights issue equity raise - oversaw the process from the firm's perspective, supporting in administrative tasks and implementing equity raise relevant information in various presentations and reports
3. Assist on Year-End and Q3 results reporting
