Online Sales Account Manager (Multiple Languages Available) - EU Headquarters
This position is based in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Positions are available in the following languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
The area: Advertising Sales
As a Sales Account Manager in this fast moving environment, you are in charge of a portfolio of Key Accounts. Providing them with superior consultancy services and using your analytical skills and deep knowledge of the Internet, you help advertisers grow their business and maximize the return on their marketing investment. You work in partnership with the advertiser to understand their strategies and increase their understanding of Google advertising solutions. You are able to sell effectively by delivering value through high-quality strategic advice and creative advertising solutions. Ideally, you have an online marketing background and a thorough knowledge of the advertising business. Above all, you are focused, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will potentially have the opportunity to participate in the Online Media Associate Program (OMAP) which is for recent and experienced graduates. This 2.5 year career development program provides an insight into online business, advertising, and new technologies. The program offers an introduction to managing business operations with some of the most innovative products on the market. It is designed to help Googlers develop the professional and job-specific skills needed for their initial and future roles. Online Media Associates will be part of a lively, accommodating and collegial team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage trusted relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
- Leverage on this strategic partnership to add value to our advertisers' business and hence grow their accounts.
- Constantly think of creative ways to improve our relationships with our clients and grow client revenue.
- Persuade clients of the wider strategic opportunities in relation to AdWords.
- Improve clients' campaign performance and return on investment.
Requirements:
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent with a strong academic background, preferably in business or marketing.
- Significant and relevant experience of consultative sales and account management (media agency sales a plus but not essential).
- Focused on developing customer partnerships.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of seeking additional selling opportunities.
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organize the sales activity.
- Native-level fluency in English and chosen language.
- Please note: EEA work authorisation is required for roles supporting EEA markets.
