Provided support to private equity firms in Europe and the US by conducting industry mapping, investment screening, creating company profiles, benchmarking targets and competitors, analyzing M&A case studies, and preparing presentation materials (information memorandums). I developed the ability to re-engineer quickly to work on new challenges and took ownership of multifaceted projects. More importantly, working for global PE clients gave me international exposure and taught me the nuances of working with cross-cultural teams. Through this role, I also gained proficiency in financial databases such as S&P Capital IQ, Factiva, and Pitchbook.
Apart from my regular responsibilities, I also participated in various pilot projects (to onboard PE clients) in the Private Equity and Consulting department. As part of one project, I created a weekly newsletter on the food tech industry in Europe, which involved researching recent M&A transactions, fundraising activities, and key industry developments, and presenting the information to the client in their desired format. I used Pitchbook to screen for M&A and private placement transactions. The client was highly satisfied with the quality of the newsletters.

Assisted startups with various tasks such as conducting company and industry research, financial modeling, performing comparable company analysis, and developing pitch books for fundraising purposes. One of my most significant accomplishments during my internship was creating an investor deck and term sheet for a milk and dairy product company. This ultimately resulted in successfully procuring EUR250,000 in funding from investors. Additionally, the opportunity to collaborate and work directly with clients was incredibly fulfilling.

Assessed Indian stocks and commodities. Also compared and analysed financial information for public companies, incl. financial statements and ratios.

Responsible for preparing flight operations for takeoff and analyzing any issues that arose. I developed strategic plans to address these issues, which helped me improve my problem-solving skills. I also gained insight into the management of operations and worked with my team to streamline procedures and ensure that outgoing passengers could board/de-board the aircraft on time for turnaround flights.
During my tenure, when I was allocated to perform Forward Air Stair activities (which is the primary task of the ground handling operation), I optimally applied half row strategy in my first turnaround flight under the supervisor and organized passengers by boarding them according to the row their assigned seat. This offered a potential way to reduce airplane boarding time and yield significant economic benefits from more efficient use of the aircraft and airport infrastructure.
Furthermore, I showed high levels of cooperation with the shift supervisors and managers when allocated 2-3 consecutive flights. This coordination has helped complete the team tasks effectively and within the given time frame.
