Global CAPEX FP&A
Responsible for the creation of a new internal framework related to the annual CAPEX budget planning process, based on a zero-sum budget concept.
• CAPEX Management: Member of the team managing the entire $200M+ CAPEX portfolio for NielsenIQ globally. Contributed to 3 years plan (budget) exercises and the annual closing. Reviewed and challenged quarterly forecast, yearly budget and actual analysis. Provided to Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis for the Management reporting process.
• KPI Framework: Provided day-to-day support to stakeholders - TechOps team as well as multiple other business units & support functions (Infrastructure, Real Estate). Consolidate the KPIs dashboard for reporting purposes.
• Zero Based Budgeting: Modeled corporate budget templates for the 2021 Capex budgeting project.

Responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. Successfully managed a portfolio of smart city projects worth $ 5 million.
• M&A: Involved in the acquisition process of local companies to shore the Engie’s position in services in Brazil. Performed technical and financial analysis upon technology companies.
• Data & Information Analysis: Developed Forecasts and Projections by gathering & analyzing data on the project and extrapolating the current project performance. Monitored progress and tracked task completion and present KPI& management reports internally and externally.
• Teamwork: Led a project team of 11 professionals in complex projects by being available and Inspiring them through example toward meeting project objectives such as client satisfaction. • Supply risk management: Identified, measured, and monitored risks such as a high schedule risk with a Telecom implantation project in the mining industry in 2018 that exposed the unit to a potential R $ 500,000 liability and then led cross-functional efforts to mitigate the risk.

Responsible for developing Business by compiling, analyzing, and translating complex business and technical requirements into customized solutions.
• Business Modeling and Analysis: Successfully supported the business with regular bid analyses and supporting strategic commercial decisions on millionaire contracts opportunity such as Brazilian Navy contract worth $ 22 million, Smart cities & Traffic Management Projects worth a total of $ 11.5 million for other Brazilian cities including the City of Rio de Janeiro which leverage the company’s revenue.
• Problem Solving: Overcame unexpected technical difficulties and challenges on one of the most famous Engie’s Smart city contracts (Niteroi) to produce desired outcomes by scrutinizing data & highlighting solutions. Designed, reviewed, and optimized Telecom systems leading to an improvement of profitability by 5%
• Communication: Performed a public speaking on addressing mobility at Connected Smart Cities conference in São Paulo in 2017, one of the most important smart city events in Latin America.
• Supplier Management and Negotiation: Defined operational requirements with local operation teams and managed tenders with purchasing department, analyzed quotations, and selected suppliers.
